Doing Your Bit (Online)

Written by  Mat Durham
Whatever your political views, the Armed Forces do an extremely demanding job in service of this country. At this time of year, it seems fitting to look at the ways it's possible to support the Armed Forces online.

The Silent Single

The Royal British Legion have released a single into the charts this year. Rather than music, the single consists of a two minute silence and the accompanying video includes the Prime Minister, David Tenant, Thom Yorke, Andy Murray and various others. All proceeds from the single will go towards helpingex-servicemen and women, and their families.

You can buy a copy of the Silent Single online.

Plant a Virtual Poppy

You can dedicate a virtual poppy, in memory of a loved one, through the Royal British Legion or Poppyscotland.

Social Media (Royal British Legion)

In addition, they've created a Facebook App that enables you to add the official Royal British Legion poppy bookmark to your Facebook page.
