Skyblu Joins the Institute of Fundraising
Currently, about 60% of Skyblu's clients are not-for-profit organisations, so we consider ourselves experienced in the field of charity web design.
We strive to achieve the very highest standards for our clients, and are proud to have joined the Institute of Fundraising - the professional body for UK fundraising - as part of this effort.
This displays our commitment to best practice, and should compliment our membership of the NCVO in helping us to stay on top of third sector issues.
We hope to see you at a networking event soon!
New Website: The Hearts & Heroes Challenge 2010
The Hearts and Heroes Challenge is a 29-mile foot challenge, set along the Southern Upland Way in Scotland. Skyblu engineered a website for the first challenge in 2009, which attracted over 500 competitors and raised £244,961.
The website aims to create a buzz amongst visitors and encourage them to sign up. The front page features a really cool video (created by Tigershark), and the website is fully integrated with social networking platforms including Facebook, Flickr and Disuqus - providing an interactive comments system for news items.
