Skyblu Web Design

Skyblu is a forward-thinking and responsible web design company, based in Worcester. We were founded in 2006 as Durham Productions, and rebranded as Skyblu in 2009. During that time, we have delivered projects for over 100 clients - from small local pubs to major UK charities.

Our plan for success is long term. We don't extort our clients for short-term gain, but work hard to provide measurable results and a positive return on investment - in order to nurture relationships which in turn become repeat business and referrals.

Here's a quick introduction to the team!

Mat Durham Mat oversees everything that happens at Skyblu. He ensures that projects are generating a favourable return on investment, and is usually the first point of contact for clients. Mat enjoys diet coke, scribbling on the whiteboard and downloading pointless iPhone apps.

Rob James As Skyblu's lead designer, Rob is responsible for the way our projects look, feel and function. In addition, he takes into account factors such as marketing strategy and search engine optimisation. Rob is a grammar nazi with a fondness for Apple Macs and trilby hats.

Josh Cocklin As Skyblu's resident techy, Josh takes care of all things IT - from updating our Content Management System to keeping our servers running smoothly and securely - and ensuring we always have backups, just in case! Josh knows phrases like "interior gateway routing protocol" and "synchronous data link control" and has an unhealthy addiction to Starbucks.

Ruth Adams, Office Manager Ruth handles anything that isn't covered by the rest of the team; from taking enquiries to writing letters to filing the all-important accounts. Ruth moved to the UK from Canada in 2006, and has a wide range of hobbies - from Ugly Betty to ballet!

In addition to our core team, Skyblu employ a small number of freelance designers and developers on a project-by-project basis. This helps us to keep our costs down, and means our clients needn't pay our overheads unnecessarily.
